Where are you located? 

I live in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. I was born here and I have always stayed here. Actually I live with my husband and two dogs in a neighborhood called “Antartida Argentina”, in a beautiful house.

What is your role at Highline? 

Software Engineer Test & Automation. My main tasks are: maintain the product quality, level up the user experience in terms of quality, and always check that the product does what it is meant to do. I research, find, and help to fix the issues that appear, working closely with each engineering team member, because all the software parts need to have excellent quality. I develop and maintain the automation test suite whose main objective is to detect on time possible issues when developing software.

What’s your background? What did you do before working at Highline? 

I remember being interested in computers since I was a little girl. Research was always my passion and by the age of 15 I started learning programming languages. I got my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and started working, at first as a developer and then I moved into the QA area. This area mixes all my passions together: research, solving huge problems, detecting & preventing issues, design & code, developing simple and practical solutions, continuing learning, team work. 

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?

I have several other passions that I discovered over the years. I play the piano and sing, I’m a dance instructor, and I am practicing yoga nowadays. I also love video games! I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, they are a huge support in my daily life.

Why did you join the Highline team? 

I love new challenges and this was one of them! Starting the QA area from the very beginning, seeing it grow and helping the engineering team with the different quality aspects were some of the main reasons for me to join. 

What has been the most rewarding aspect so far? 

Having the chance to work with people around the world, sharing cultures, languages, foods, ideas, ways of life, is just amazing! I never thought I would have this opportunity and I am so happy about it!

What do you think the future of fintech holds? 

Taking advantage of the power of automation in every area of our life is the main key, and I think Highline is taking a big step on automating payments by payroll. It is amazing to be part of the product growth and to see the big future of it.
